From a wreath of the colors Argent and Azure, a demi-sun Or bearing a stylized shield Gules, charged with a triton shell Proper, all superimposed by a triple-arch gateway of the Spanish Colonia Period, also Proper.

Shield
The wavy field is emblematic of the Pacific Ocean, home area of the unit. The rifle represents the Infantry and combat readiness. The cutlass commemorates the beginnings of the Guam National Guard in 1917, as the Navy-sponsored Guam Militia. The slingstone is an established emblem of Guam. Red, white and blue represent Guams colors.
Crest
The crest is that of the Guam Army National Guard.
The coat of arms was approved on 29 September 1993. It was amended to correct the colors of the wreath on 28 August 2013.
